Who it's for

Two kinds of product. One standard.

Pick the one that sounds like you. Many products are both.

AI products

Your engineers put an AI agent or AI feature in front of users

  • Wrong answers or the wrong tool, and you can't tell how often.
  • Token costs rise with every new user.
  • No idea what happens if someone tries to trick it.
Apps built with AI tools

You built your app fast with AI coding tools, and real people use it

  • Built with Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Claude Code or similar.
  • Unsure about logins and roles, exposed keys or payments.
  • No tests, and every deploy feels risky.

Not sure which one you are? We'll work it out with you on the call.

What you get

Diagnose. Plan. Build.

Every startup gets the diagnosis and the plan. Then we spend the rest of the 40 hours fixing and building what the plan says matters most.

01 · Diagnose

A written diagnosis report

What's wrong today, ranked by what to fix first, and walked through with you on a call. Anything we couldn't see is marked "not reviewed", never guessed.

02 · Plan

What to do next, and who does it

We read your product plan for the next six months and put our findings against it: what to fix first, what to build next, and why. We agree in writing what we take on and what your team does.

What matters most, done properly

The top items from your plan, sized to fit the hours. Tested, checked by a senior engineer, and handed over for your team to ship, with numbers measured before and after.

03 · Fix and build

Fix and build happens in four areas. Your plan picks the mix.

The plan decides which of these we work on, and how the 40 hours are split between them.

Quality

Quality has limits, and we say so: we test against an agreed spec and test data, and tell you what's covered. We never call anything 100%.

How it works

Four weeks. Start to handover.

About 40 hours of senior engineering, spread over four weeks. We agree your start week with you on the call.

First call · bring four things
  1. The problem you want solved
  2. What "fixed" looks like, a number if you have one
  3. Your product plan for the next six months
  4. Your timeline, and what's driving it

Not this edition: internal-only tools, side projects with no users yet, teams of 10+ engineers, agencies and dev shops, marketing, design-only work or training AI models.

    20 minutes

    Intro call

You bring the four things listed here. No deck needed. We tell you plainly whether Edition 01 fits.

  2. 02
    You choose

    Share your product

Run our review kit and send us the results, or give us read-only access to your code. Never passwords or keys.

  3. 03
    Week 1

    Diagnose and plan

We walk you through what we find, then agree the plan in writing: what we fix and build, and the before/after number. Nothing gets built until you sign off.

  4. 04
    Weeks 2–4

    Fix and build

Built and tested in our own repo, every change checked by a senior engineer. Your team ships it to your users.

  5. 05
    End of week 4

    Handover and your feedback

We hand everything over, measure the "after" number with you and ask for honest feedback. If it's working, we talk about what's next. If not, you keep everything.

What we check

AI wrote the feature. It didn't write the hard parts.

Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit and Claude Code are very good at the happy path. Real users and real attackers find the rest. This is the list we go through.

What the demo ships
What production needs
The AI answers well when you try it
A test set and a score, so you know how often it's wrong
Login works when you try it
Roles, sessions and token expiry that hold
Keys in the frontend, or a .env that got committed
Secrets kept out of the code and out of the browser
Every query goes to one big model
Each request sent to the right model, with a cost you can forecast
The prompt is whatever the user types
Injection guards and tool limits on anything that can act
No tests, deploy straight to main
Tests on the paths that matter, safe deploys, quick rollback
Why no charge

We're earning our case studies. On real products.

BuildPath is a new company. We'd rather show what we can do on real products than tell you about it.

01

Senior engineers, AI agents

Our engineers build with AI agents, and a senior engineer checks every change. The engineer who diagnoses your product walks you through the report.

02

Every finding tied to evidence

Each finding points to something we saw in your product. What we couldn't see is marked "not reviewed".

03

You keep what we build

You can use and change everything we build for you, permanently. We keep the reusable building blocks so we can use them again.

What we ask
  • One person on your side who replies within 48 hours
  • Honest feedback at the end of week 4, and a testimonial if it worked
FAQ

Frequently asked

Is there really no charge?

Yes, for the startups selected into Edition 01. The diagnosis, the plan and what we fix and build cost you nothing. If it's working and you see value, we'll talk about what's next at the end of week 4. There's no obligation to work with us after that, and you keep everything either way.

Is our AI-built app too messy?

No, and that's most of what we see. We read what's actually there, find what breaks under real users, and give you an ordered list rather than a lecture.

Why only about 40 hours?

It's enough for a real diagnosis, a plan, and fixes that reach your users. If what you need is bigger, the report says what it would really take, and we do the parts that matter most first.

When do we start?

We agree your start week with you on the first call. We start the review the day you give us access, and walk you through the full timeline on the call.

Do you work in our codebase?

We build in our own repo and hand the work over to you. For the review, you either run our review kit on your side and send us the results, or give us read-only access to your code. We use access only for Edition 01, remove it when we're done, and sign an NDA on request.

Who owns the code you write?

You can use and change everything we build for you, permanently. BuildPath keeps the reusable building blocks so we can use them again. Your existing code, data and business logic are always yours.

How much of our time does it take?

About an hour of calls: the intro and the report walkthrough. After that, quick replies while we build and your team's time to ship it. The named owner on your side does most of it.

What do you check with?

Open tools, read by senior engineers: gitleaks, trufflehog, Semgrep, osv-scanner, Trivy, promptfoo, garak, OWASP ZAP, Lighthouse, k6, GitHub Actions and our own test sets. Scanners find candidates; our engineers decide what's real and what to fix first.

How are startups chosen?

On the intro call. We look for an Indian startup with an AI product or an app built with AI tools, real users (or a launch within 30 days), and a product or engineering team under 10. A product plan helps. Applications close on 15 December 2026, or earlier if all spots fill.

What should we bring to the first call?

Bring the problem you want solved, what "fixed" looks like, your product plan for the next six months, and your timeline. A demo link helps; no deck is needed.
